![]() The individual level of each class also discourages me to play others as it just slows down progression by a lot : /. The quests also aren't that great and can be pretty strange and vary drastically in difficulty. grenades for assault) and some stuff will just give vets a big advantage. Certain things are locked behind a long grind that just shouldn't be (e.g. I love Isonzo a lot so far from the music to the gameplay and maps BUT the grind is horrid, especially with this many classes. ![]() It all comes together to evoke the feeling of actually being there in the muddy trenches of the Western Front or the snow covered forests of the Eastern Front, in the middle of one of the largest wars in history. ![]() Everything in the game has been tailored to recreate the grim atmosphere so typical of WW1, from the immersive interface and war torn maps to realistic sounds and voices. Uniforms have been recreated to the tiniest detail, the weapons are modeled to exact references and the maps use realistic props and terrain layouts. The developers have carried out extensive research and were advised by knowledgeable historians to make sure the individual elements in their games are as historically accurate as it can get. The 1914-1918 WW1 Game Series currently includes Verdun and Tannenberg (set on the Eastern Front). Verdun Player Stats If you make a post about anything concerning players, such as a request for squad-mates or Clans, please mention the server you play on, as this will help avoid confusion. I know bupkiss about this other than it's lauded for it's single player strengths but I'm sure I'll get this girl too at some point in the future.Verdun, the best WWI experience gaming has to offer Links: Lastly, "Wings Over Flanders' Fields," is out there too. ![]() "Holdfast," has a WW1 DLC available played it a smidge but just didn't click for me as it seems as if you're still moving in 19th century speed in a 20th century war, so no bueno for me.Īs always, "Rise of Flight," still exists but unless you're invested in it like I am owing to all the add-on planes I've bought over the years, I'd take a long, hard look at this before taking the plunge.
